La Peña Fotográfica Rosarina aims at a purely cultural, scientific or technical activity and artistic perfection of photography.
As such, one of its most important expressions for the diffusion of photographic art are its traditional Salons of Photography, which for decades have been the hallmark of our Institution in the photographic sphere and pride of our city.
La Peña Fotográfica Rosarina, an affiliate of the Argentine Federation of Photography, has been for many years the seat of one of the most important photographic contests in the world, the International Photography Salon, being one of the few Argentinean photoclubs to reach the 50 editions of this event, which year after year received more than 2000 photographic works between paper and slides.
Our International Salons were one of the most prestigious worldwide photographic competitions, which, with the sponsorship of the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP), were able to summon hundreds of photographers from more than forty different countries.
La Peña Fotográfica Rosarina tiene como objeto una actividad netamente cultural, científica o técnica y de perfeccionamiento artístico de la fotografía.
Como tal, una de sus más importantes expresiones en pos de la difusión del arte fotográfico son sus tradicionales Salones de Fotografía, que han sido por décadas el sello distintivo de nuestra Institución en el ámbito fotográfico y orgullo de nuestra ciudad.
La Peña Fotográfica Rosarina, entidad afiliada a la Federación Argentina de Fotografía supo ser por muchos años la sede de uno de los más importantes concursos fotográficos a nivel mundial, el Salón Internacional de Fotografía, siendo uno de los pocos fotoclubes argentinos en alcanzar las 50 ediciones de dicho evento, que año tras año recibía más de 2000 obras fotográficas entre papel y diapositivas.
Nuestros Salones Internacionales constituyeron una de las más prestigiosas competencias fotográficas a nivel mundial, que siempre con el patrocinio de la Federación Internacional de Arte Fotográfico (FIAP) supieron convocar a centenares de fotógrafos de más de cuarenta países diferentes.
